Join Our Internship Program

and become a Sustainable Food Advocate!

Through a holistic approach, this experiential learning program not only offers a practical hands-on experience in sustainable food production, but also demonstrates the interconnected elements of a functioning business model that can be replicated and multiplied within local food systems. It is designed for students, community builders and aspiring local food actors with an interest in sustainable development.

Our goal is to inspire and train a new wave of young change-makers who recognize the challenges within our current food system and want to transform it into a more resilient model.

We are looking for passionate and driven team players who are ready to step into a real-life work experience, and gain the knowledge and skills that will help them create solutions for the future of their communities.

Antoine Ragueneau

I’ve worked with Saba two years ago and it really was an enriching experience. Being able to learn about market gardening while having the opportunity to lead a team and teach new interns made my internship meaningful for my professional choices afterwards. Truly a fantastic professional experience with fantastic people!

The Culinary Farm, The Culinary Farmer, Saba Nazarian, Market gardener

Our 1.4 hectare diversified farm is designed thoughtfully through permaculture principles. This agro-ecological project aims to demonstrate regenerative agriculture practices on a human-scale that are embedded into its day-to-day operation. We grow high-value and high-in-demand fresh seasonal produce for a community of chefs and local food enthusiasts who support our mission.

Participants will take part in the following 3 main activities throughout the season:

  • Food Production - cultivating, harvesting and caring for a wide range of fresh seasonal produce, food preservation
  • Business Management - planning, sales & marketing as well as customer relations.
  • Research & development - record keeping, documentation, farm analytics and reports.
